Lorient DS Acoustic Smoke & Fire Seals Lorient DS seals offer the ultimate in acoustic, smoke & fire protection with the added benefit of thermal containment. Their unique design means that whichever way around the product is installed, the seal can always be fitted in the correct place, maintaining the integrity of the acoustic & smoke seal at the ironmongery points. Fully tested to the following standards: • BS 476 Pt 20/22 & Pt 31.1 cold smoke leakage • BS EN 1634-1:2008 for fire & smoke performance • BS EN ISO 10140-1:2010 +A1:2012 for acoustic performance required for Approved Document E • Low friction to meet the requirements of Approved Document M • 1,000,000 cycle tested

• High tack self-adhesive backing for quick & easy fitting even on MDF • Use in parallel with the DS Acoustic smoke seal to achieve 60 minute fire rating • Note: If using two 30 minute intumescents seals to achieve a 60 minute fire rating, the seals MUST be from the same manufacturer to comply with 30 mins 60 mins
